Champagne with Peter Liem
Peter Liem will be at the farm to host a dinner and lead us through an extraordinary sequence of Champagnes. He’ll be pouring wines from Cedric Bouchard, Jacques Selosses, Emmanual Lassaigne, Fred Savart, and others with an emphasis on rare or unusual cuvée’s. Jason Barikowski is working on a luxurious menu with an emphasis on Pacific Northwest seafood and this early moment in the garden.
Peter is one of the most thoughtful wine writers that we know. He has made searching studies about many areas in the world of wine, but is based in Champagne and has chosen to explore most deeply here. He was just awarded a James Beard award for his recent, groundbreaking work on Champagne.
Peter’s work has been inspirational for our studies on the farm and we’re looking forward to this evening with particular anticipation. It is going to be a magical evening.
$200 per person is all inclusive of food, wine and service. The dinner begins at the farm at 6pm.
