Smockshop Band is an exploration of the Columbia Gorge by the team at Hiyu Wine Farm. We offer three different experiences of our wines, food grown on the farm, or sourced from others who grow, fish and forage in the Pacific Northwest.
The Winefarmer's lunch is offered every Saturday and Sunday at noon. Chef Jason Barwikowski and Master Sommelier Nate Ready share six wines and cook a series of dishes to accompany them. This is the most magical way to experience what we create on the farm and the most thoughtful introduction to our wines. Please allow two hours for the experience. There are only 12 seats available for each lunch and tickets must be purchased in advance on the website. $115 per person includes food, wine and service.
In the afternoon, we seek to emulate the relaxed mood of wine taverns in the European countryside. We offer flights, glasses and bottles of our wine alongside snacks made from food grown on the farm. There is no menu, but every few minutes the kitchen will send out a different plate for everyone in the room to share with the glass that is in front of you. The experience starts at $30 and includes a flight of Hiyu and Smockshop Band wines and drinking snacks for as long as you are with us.
On Saturday Nights we host a series of wine dinners that allow us to carry our investigation of food and wine into the evening. Purchase of tickets on our website is required for wine dinners and lunches. (Click here to explore lunch and dinner tickets)
